Helping Hand, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, announced its 26th Annual Gala: An Evening of Transformation, set to take place at 6:00 p.m. on April 25, 2025, at the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge. This event will support the construction of a dynamic teaching kitchen for their students, adult clients, staff, and community.
The Gala will provide attendees the opportunity to experience an evening with fine dining, browsing and bidding on unique silent and live auction packages, and an after party. Those interested in attending can secure tickets through Helping Hand – 26th Annual Gala: An Evening of Transformation.
The evening will also provide interactive sensory stations to connect attendees to the challenges faced by Helping Hand students and clients. “As always we continue to have an immersive experience into what it’s like to have a disability, what it’s like to work with people with disabilities, along with celebrating the value that everyone brings to Helping Hand and to the people we serve,” said Bill Dwyer, CEO of Helping Hand.
