Local tax attorney Patrick T. Sheehan is pleased to announce that the law firm he created in 1991, Patrick T. Sheehan & Associates, will also now be known as IRS Trouble Solvers. This new co-branding effort “allows us to better define who we are and continue to focus on what we do best — representing individuals and businesses in trouble with the Internal Revenue Service or the Illinois Department of Revenue.”
When Sheehan started his firm over 25 years ago, it was just a one-man operation. In addition to representing taxpayers before the IRS, Sheehan said that he also answered the phones and emptied out the garbage cans. However, the steady growth of the firm has led to many changes over the years, including the 2001 purchase of the office building in which they still operate.
Today, IRS Trouble Solvers has three experienced tax attorneys including Molly Young and Greg Dzialo along with a capable staff of professionals. The new brand shines a brighter light on the experience and capabilities of both Young and Dzialo who have a combined experience of 14 years as tax attorneys. Young’s legal talents include Offers in Compromise, negotiating the release of bank and wage levies and innocent spouse relief. Dzialo’s legal talents include audits, offshore tax issues and Illinois Department of Revenue matters.
“Unlike the national tax resolution firms that you hear on the radio or see on TV, IRS Trouble Solvers is a local law firm where our lawyers resolve IRS problems like we have done from the very beginning, in a one-on-one setting,” Sheehan said. “If you have an IRS problem, you will sit down with either myself, Molly or Greg in our brick and mortar location in the heart of Chicago’s western suburbs, look him or her straight in the eye and have all of your questions answered. You will never talk to a salesman on the telephone located in another state.”
IRS Trouble Solvers has the ability to reduce or eliminate your IRS and IDR tax problems. The firm represents individuals and businesses on complex and sensitive issues such as unpaid tax liability, unfiled tax returns, wage levies, bank levies, tax liens, the reduction or removal of penalties and interest, installment agreements, Offers in Compromise, innocent spouse relief, audits and the release of federal tax liens.
