Midwestern University Celebrates 670 Graduates Launching Healthcare Careers

Jun 5, 2025

Midwestern University proudly celebrated the graduation of 670 master’s and doctoral degree recipients during six commencement ceremonies held May 28th and 29th on the Downers Grove Campus. These ceremonies marked the beginning of professional healthcare careers for graduates across a wide range of disciplines.
Throughout the two days, students heard inspirational remarks from their Deans, Associate Deans, and fellow classmates. In a special tribute, nine graduates entering military service were honored for their commitment to serving both their country and the healthcare profession.
Reflecting on the milestone, student speakers highlighted the hard work, spirit, and sense of purpose that defined their academic journeys. “Though our programs have different focuses, we share a common bond—the drive to make a difference in the lives of those we treat,” said Kamila Wiklanski, D.P.T., Physical Therapy Class of 2025 Vice-President. “This is just the beginning. The world of healthcare is ever-changing, and we will continue to learn, grow, and adapt as compassionate professionals.”
