The SEASPAR-Kiwanis Aktion Club, sponsored by the South East Association for Special Parks And Recreation (SEASPAR) and the Woodridge Kiwanis Club, invites the community to enjoy an evening of delicious pasta and hilarious fun at their first spaghetti dinner fundraiser.
The SEASPAR-Kiwanis Aktion Club is a unique community service organization designed for adults with disabilities who wish to help others. Each year, the group conducts fundraisers and performs service projects to support communities near and far. This “Pies & Pasta” event is the group’s latest effort to raise funds for charity.
The Pies & Pasta Fundraiser will take place on Monday, March 3, with seatings at 4:30pm or 5:30pm, at the Willowbrook Community Resource Center, located at 825 Midway Drive in Willowbrook. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 4-14.
Aktion Club members will be serving spaghetti and meatballs, bread, salad, dessert, and light refreshments. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
A unique twist to this fundraiser is that for every ticket purchased, the ticket holder will get to vote for a SEASPAR staff member to be pied in the face!
Ticket sales end February 27. Let’s share some laughs, enjoy delicious food, and make a difference—one plate of pasta and one pie toss at a time!
