DOWNERS GROVE, IL \u2013 March 8, 2024 \u2013\u00a0Lucy<\/span>\u00a0Hilt<\/span>, residential real estate broker with the Downers Grove office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, is entering her 50th<\/sup>\u00a0year in the business.<\/p>\n

Terri Doney, managing broker of the firm\u2019s Downers Grove office, said, \u201cIt is such an honor to congratulate\u00a0Lucy<\/span>\u00a0on 50 amazing years as a residential real estate broker. Her longevity in this business really speaks volumes about her as a person and as a professional. Her impeccable reputation has been built over decades, earning her the respect of her peers and the trust of her clients.\u00a0<\/a>Lucy<\/span>\u00a0has been an incredible role model to her daughters Elaine and Laura, both brokers, as well as Sharon, a real estate attorney, and granddaughter Brita, a broker. Elaine Pagels,\u00a0Lucy<\/span>\u2019s daughter and founder of Pagels Group (in which\u00a0Lucy<\/span>\u00a0is now a team member), had the privilege of learning the ropes from her mom and working with her for over 20 years. Now granddaughter Brita Pagels, Elaine\u2019s daughter, has joined them as well!<\/p>\n

Lucy<\/span>\u00a0Hilt<\/span>\u00a0began her real estate career in 1974 and was a top producer with Baird & Warner. She specialized in Chicago and the western suburbs. She then owned\u00a0a Hinsdale-based boutique real estate firm that was later acquired by the predecessor of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago. Her total commitment to her clients’ real estate interests generates a high percentage of life-long clients who refer family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.\u00a0Lucy<\/span>\u00a0was a Chicago Five Star Professional Real Estate Agent in 2015 and holds the Certified Staging Consultant (CSC) designation.<\/p>\n
