On Wednesday, December 4th, Chamber630, a regional Chamber of Commerce located in the heart of Downers Grove, held their annual Best of 630 Awards & Holiday Party at Topgolf Naperville to honor the finalists and announce the winners of their Best of 630 Awards. The Best of 630 Awards celebrate the businesses and individuals in the region who have risen above and beyond during the year, and who have made a positive impact in the lives of the clients and customers they serve.
Area businesses and individuals were nominated by the public for their excellence in ten categories: Business Excellence – Service, New Biz on the Block, World Class Customer Service, Business Excellence – Retail, Inspirational Not-for-Profit, Business Excellence – Professional, Best Family-Owned Business, Business Excellence – Hospitality, Exceptional Company Culture, and the Humanitarian Award. Nominated businesses submitted applications to be considered for the awards, and twenty finalists were chosen. Of those twenty, ten winners were selected by the Chamber630 Awards Committee.

As a surprise addition this year, Chamber630 staff created a new award to acknowledge the profound contributions of one Board Member in particular who has excelled as an advocate for the Chamber and who has put in extra time and energy to help Chamber630 grow and thrive. This year, Chamber630 honored this member with The Chairman’s Award. This award is Chamber staff selected and Chairman approved. The Chamber is pleased to share that this year’s winner of The Chairman’s Award is Cathy Jama of CJ Commercial Real Estate Solutions.
